As I embark off to Tanzania in 12 days, I pray for an open heart and open mind. Strength to serve Him in a way which glorifies, and to live by the vision that the example I set will lead others. I absolutely can't wait to have the opportunity to touch a nation with tribes and tongues who have never been given a chance. It is my blessing to get the opportunity to live humbly for others.
I am so excited to see the beautiful ways in which Christ will work in this next semester, not only in Tanzania, but back home as well. I'm so grateful for all of the encouragement, support, and love that has surrounded me as I prepare to dive headfirst into the battlefield. Every person who has put up with my stress (Hi, Mom.), financial concerns (Sup, Mom.), absurd expectations, and who has just been a loving friend is absolutely instrumental in my being able to go and take on a simple way of life in an attempt to serve the Lord.
I will miss everyone back home, but I'll bombard you will pictures, updates, and love from abroad. Prayers for all of those in Arusha, especially at the "Cradle of Love" orphanage are so appreciated! Love you guys... YOU ARE ALL THE BEST!!!! :)
